Toyo Ito snagged the Golden Lion at the 2012 Venice Architecture Biennale for his work on the Japanese national pavilion. The awards jury included Wiel Arets, Kristin Feiress, Robert A.M. Stern, Benedetta Tagliabue, and Alan Yentob. A complete list of winners follows.
