Each month RECORD reviews building product related web sites and blogs that might be of interest to our readership. We visit each site, kick the tires a bit, and share what it is about and how it functions. Please let us know if there is a site you've found particularly useful, well-designed, or easy to navigate. — Rita Catinella Orrell
Bobrick
Washroom equipment manufacturer Bobrick has set out to demystify new guidelines for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant bathroom construction. Bobrick’s “Planning Guide for Accessible Restrooms” suggests toilet partitions, washroom accessories, and other products to help specifiers create better, user-friendly lavatories. The 24-page guide also includes a “wheelchair maneuverability drawing template” in three scales (1/8” = 1; 1/4” = 1; and 1/2” = 1”) for use in working drawings.
