At last May's convention, the AIA launched a competition for architects to design their own Barbie Dream House. They have now selected five finalist projects for you to vote on. The competition is open until August 1st and the winner will be announced on August 2nd in conjunction with the retail launch of Mattel's Barbie I Can Be...Architect doll. I am partial to the design that has room in the garage for Barbie's hybrid vehicle — I also like the perforated skylight system in that design.
