The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) has announced the launch of GATHER, its new National Conference, taking place September 21-24, 2022 in Miami.
GATHER will be open to ASID members and non-members alike, offering a space for all sectors of design to explore how design is shaped by the social and cultural context of our times. The programming will explore untraditional formats that energize attendees and facilitate interaction.
The conference will be centered around four key pillars impacting interior designers:
- the changing work environment;
- adaptive and multi-generational living;
- leading through challenging times; and climate,
- health and equity, including diversity and inclusion.
GATHER will also integrate the ASID National Student Summit (SCALE), the only national event for design students.
The conference will be held at the InterContinental Miami Hotel, with satellite events being held throughout the week at exciting venues around the city.
