Jami Mohlenkamp leads the Senior Living practice at Denver-based OZ Architecture. A dedicated proponent of innovative design for the aging population, Jami is passionate about creating spaces that elevate older adult wellness and independence.
With a diverse project history, Jami brings extensive knowledge of senior living design, ranging from independent living, assisted living and memory support to skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. Jami created and launched a national Aging-In-Place Toolkit with guiding principles to better serve the growing older adult population in residences not dedicated to senior living.
In 2018, Jami was invited to join the LeadingAge Colorado Inaugural Emerging Leaders Program as well as the TAG 314 Aging Societies US working group. He was honored with the Denver Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award in 2017, and has been a speaker and moderator for the Colorado Real Estate Journal’s Seniors Housing and Care conference since 2014. Jami has spoken at LeadingAge Colorado, Denver Startup Week, AIA Colorado, the Mainstreet Design Summit on Innovation in Design and the Denver Public Library Aging In (the Right) Place speaker series, as well as the 2018 Colorado Legislative Caucus on Aging. Jami is an alumnus of the Downtown Denver Leadership Program.
By spearheading innovative designs that foster stronger socialization, wellness and overall well-being, Jami brings a strong sense of community and purpose to senior living design.
