Larry joined Kendall/Heaton Associates in 1978 and has collaborated with many of the world’s most renowned architects, including seven Pritzker Prize or AIA Gold Medal recipients.

Larry has worked on projects for The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston since 1993 collaborating with Carlos Jimenez on the Junior School and Administration Building followed by the Audrey Jones Beck Building and Fannin Visitor Center and Garage with Rafael Moneo completed in 2000. He also collaborated with Leslie Elkins Architecture on the Lora Jean Kilroy Visitor and Education Center at Bayou Bend (2011), with Lake|Flato on the MFAH Blaffer Center for Conservation (2017) and has been working since 2012 with Steven Holl Architects on the Glassell School of Art and Kinder Exhibition Buildings.

In addition to the MFAH projects, he worked with Yoshio Taniguchi on Asia Society Texas Center (2011), Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth by Tadao Ando (2002), Toledo Art Museum Glass Pavilion with SANAA (2006), Kimbell Art Museum Piano Pavilion with Renzo Piano Building Workshop (2013) and is currently working on the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth Expansion with Tadao Ando Architects.
