	The steel and Douglas fir structure is exposed throughout the interiors and flows outside, supporting broad overhangs. Its 18-inch grid carries over to the facade which, with its laminated insulated glass and thermally isolated stainless steel mullions, forms a robust envelope. The house terminates in prow-like acute angles at the east and west ends, maximizing views to the valley below.
