New Architectural Hardware for Fall 2019

Hooked 1.0
Buster & Punch, a London-based manufacturer of hardware and lighting, is known for lavishing high-quality metalwork on the most minimal details. Even tiny locking nuts on the threads of hooks feature a knurled diamond pattern. So it’s no surprise that the company’s hooks, screws, and sockets distinguish its latest line of fixtures, Hooked 1.0. The pendants’ shades are made of powder-coated rolled steel, available in a small (5" x 6") or large (8" x 10") size, and can be installed individually or clustered to form chandeliers that look industrial. Eye-catching brass fasteners in the shade come in three finishes (brass, steel, smoked bronze) to match the company’s furniture knobs and T-Bar cabinet pulls.

Surface Mount Barn Door Lock
This stainless-steel lock for barn-style doors was designed for quick and easy installation with minimal tools. A thumb lever lets users secure the lock’s 1" bolt with a touch. The lock is available in Bright or Satin Stainless Steel (shown), Satin Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, and Graphite Black.

Reserve MultiPoint
Baldwin is expanding the affordable residential products under its Reserve brand with the debut of MultiPoint, a collection of door handle sets that includes everything but the lock mechanism. Designed for installation on doors 1¾" thick, the forged-brass sets are offered in 14 finishes and five styles, and can be customized for keypad- and touchscreen-activated locks as well as keyed entries.

Access by Accurate
San Francisco–based interior designer Jay Jeffers collaborated with Connecticut-based manufacturer Accurate to launch Access by Accurate, a line of knobs, pulls, locks, and handles that comes in nine profiles (Holmby Hills is shown). All are available with the manufacturer’s optional proprietary technology, such as smartphone-controlled mortise locks, magnetic latches, and a special handle-leveling feature.

Knurled Cabinet Knob
Doug Mockett designed this 1⅛" decorative knob to accent furniture. Made from a composite comprised mostly of zinc, in addition to aluminum and copper, the affordable pull features a knurled, plated finish inspired by volume controls on guitar amplifiers. For a unified look across furnishings, specify it with matching knurled drawer pulls in roughly 7" and 11" lengths. Both come finished in Polished and Satin Chrome, Matte Black, Anodized Aluminum, and Satin Brass (shown).

Beliza
In line with the trend toward a hand-wrought aesthetic, this collection of knobs and pulls from Vesta showcases the manufacturer’s skill at crafting knurled patterns. The bar pulls (in 12", 51 ⁄16", 65⁄16", and 3¾" lengths), cylinder knobs (in 15⁄16", 1", and 1⅜" projections), conical knobs (in 1" and ¾" projections), and appliance pulls (in 12" and 18" lengths) are made of solid brass and can be specified in five metallic finishes.
