Curated by Martino Stierli and Ikem Stanley Okoye, the new show is the final installment in a triptych of MoMA architecture exhibitions centered on political emancipation.
Notable exhibitions include shows on bird-friendly buildings and low-carbon design from Studio Gang and MVRDV, respectively, and a survey of the bold architecture embraced by now-defunct retailer, Best Products.
On view through July 19, the show features more than 90 works, possibly one of the largest collection of Gothic drawings ever brought together in one location.
‘A Better Life for Their Children: Julius Rosenwald, Booker. T Washington and the 4,978 Schools that Changed America’ and ‘The Tuskegee Chapel: Paul Rudolph x Fry & Welch’ remain on view through early next year.
