Real estate and development company HFZ Group has revealed a rendering of The Eleventh, a condominium and hotel project near the High Line on the far West Side of Manhattan in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood. Designed by Danish architect Bjarke Ingels, the project consists of two twisting unevenly-shaped towers linked by a skybridge. Clad in bronze and travertine, The Eleventh will house the Six Senses New York hotel and private condos. The East Tower will have 87 units, while the West Tower will have 149.
Ingels’ Via 57 West, a pyramidal residential building also on the West Side of the island, was completed in August 2016. The Eleventh is the architect’s first condominium and hotel project in the city.
