Totes Take the 2018 Venice Architecture Biennale





























At the opening of the Venice Architecture Biennale, a canvas bag was a must to haul books, pamphlets, water bottles, a change of shoes, and other loot—and to make a fashion statement.
As Biennale-goers visited this year’s exhibitions, RECORD captured the vast array of tote bags, many from the various pavilions, showing off the intersection of graphic design and architecture. Photographs by David Berridge.
