Spartacote Flex XPL
This resinous floor coating is engineered to remain malleable for up to 25 minutes to facilitate smooth applications on concrete floors, whether in residential and retail interiors or in raw industrial space such as a garage, where a tough surface is required. Resistant to chemicals, abrasions and UV rays, Spartacote Flex XPL also sets in less than three hours for foot traffic and in 24 hours for use by vehicles.
Premium Quick Dry Oil Base Wood Finish
Behr’s latest formula for waterproofing wood decks is said to be effective with a single coat and has a faster-than-average drying time of one hour, which could significantly reduce labor costs. Designers can select one of five shades: Clear, Cedar Naturaltone, Redwood, Chocolate, and Cordovan Brown.
TPO Fleece Back FR
A new roof membrane from Mule-Hide Products provides Class A fire protection, even if it isn’t combined with other fire-resistant underlayments such as barrier boards and slip sheets. TPO Fleece Back FR comes with reinforcing fleece to prevent punctures and with the manufacturer’s Weathering Package, which includes heat-, sun-, and ozone-resistant agents. It also contains no chlorine or VOCs.
Supreme High Build
Among the latest interior latex paints from Sherwin-Williams, the company’s Supreme High Build is formulated to provide better than average spray-coat applications, enabling contractors to cover large areas more evenly and in less time. Said to offer improved washability and hide mistakes, the latex is available in eggshell and semigloss finishes, as well as flat, recommended to camouflage minor flaws.
NeverFade Facade Restoration Coatings
These low-VOC water-based topcoats for metal facades are enhanced by a special resin, Kynar Aquatec, to protect a building’s skin from rust, fading, staining, and fungal growth, among other forms of weathering. The NeverFade system is available in custom colors as well as metallic sheens, and comes with a 15-year warranty from the manufacturer, APV Engineered Coatings, against fading.
