We were pleased to welcome John Ronan as one of the architects speaking in the "Essential Discussions" series in our booth this afternoon. He presented the Gary Comer Youth Center and the Poetry Foundation, both in Chicago and both recipients of AIA National Honor Awards. While they are two extremely different buildings, they share the common thread of both being products of philanthropists affecting change in urban communities through architecture. It was a pleasure to be able to host Ronan in Washington, D.C. this year.
