AIA Announces 2013 Institute Honor Awards

January 14, 2013

The results are in: The American Institute of Architects has released its annual list of Institute Honor Awards. The 2013 winning projects--28 in total--range from the much-hyped Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia to the lesser-known BNIM offices in Des Moines. Renzo Piano's Menil Collection in Houston won the AIA's 2013 25-Year Award, which honors a project that continues to be influential decades after its construction.

The announcements come a month after the AIA named the other big-ticket winners of 2013: Thom Mayne won the 2013 AIA Gold Medal and Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects won the 2013 AIA Architecture Firm Award.

The full list of winners is below.
