Architecture and design firm NBBJ is partnering with Time Inc. and PowerToFly to create the workplace of the future. They’re hosting a global hackathon called “Distribute!” on April 9th, 10th and 17th at three locations. The goal: to radically evolve the way distributed teams work, communicate, collaborate and have fun together.

The event will be held in New York, London and Seattle, with participation from satellite locations in other cities. Teams will be tasked with designing, coding and hacking solutions to humanize the distributed workplace.

The winning team will get to see their prototype come to life in a Time Inc. and NBBJ location. Additional prizes include licenses for Microsoft BizSpark Plus and more to be announced.
