Hy-Lite has added 2' x 2' versions of the company’s 36" x 60" and 48" square privacy windows. The smaller size features the large windows’ same tempered safety glass and silkscreened patterns inside, with textured glass on the exterior to keep prying eyes out. All windows come double-paned and pre-framed for easy installation.

PlybooDoor Panel

This eco-friendly update of a barn-style door is engineered for quick and accurate installation. The bamboo plywood panel, made by the sustainable building-product company Smith & Fong, comes pre-drilled for easy mounting onto Krownlab’s sliding door hardware. Panels are offered in custom widths and heights, and the sliding-door system is built to enable builders to level and alter the length of tracks even after they’ve been installed. The doors’ six standard finishes are also odorless and can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

American Tradition Series

What appear to be wood garage doors actually are made of 2"-thick steel. Haas Door, a fabricator of steel and aluminum garage doors, has developed simulated wood finishes to let architects add traditional details that deliver modern efficiencies. The company’s residential garage doors can now be specified with American Walnut and English Oak finishes. All options come with CFC-free polyurethane insulation and a calculated R value of 13.45.

No Peek Privacy

Architect Tom Kundig designed this 1¾"-thick sliding-door pull. Like the rest of his collection for 12th Avenue Iron, the hardware is hand-forged from ⅛" hot-rolled, blackened steel (wax finish) and recommended for use in residential projects. Viewed from the front, the locked profile measures 4" x 13" and can be ordered in satin bead-blasted stainless steel and oil-rubbed bronze.
