On November 9 and 10, Boutique Design New York welcomed thousands of visitors to the Javits Center, on Manhattan’s Far West Side. The trade show, now in its 16th year, featured over 750 exhibitors throughout the cavernous hall, and included two full days of panels and presentations. On display were recent product releases, including furniture collections, bathroom fixtures, appliances, flooring and wallcoverings, and more. Below are some of RECORD’s highlights.

Rhine

Rhine is a modular club chair collection designed by longtime HBF collaborator Ken Reinhard. The chairs are offered with or without arms, and mobile, stationary, and swivel base options. Each can be appended to wood companion tables—available in standalone configurations—and fitted with power outlets, that are finished in black oxide, satin, or brass. The chairs are upholstered in an array of HBF-produced textiles.

Milan-based design studio AMDL Circle collaborated with Mirage to develop these tile wallcoverings and ceramic partitions. The collection consists of Atmo, patterned tiles that measure 8" × 8" and 20½" × 47"; and Lito (pictured), breeze blocks measuring 4¾" × 4¾" × 4".
