Initially envisioned as a boat house, this compact private residence was developed out of a two-week design-build course, taught by principal Peter Braithwaite, at the Dalhousie School of Architecture and Planning.
A series of pavilions, each employing different structural strategies depending on their sizes or programs, come together to form a remote, off-grid lake retreat in Ontario.
