Last year the Blue Valley School District of Overland Park, Kansas, had a problem: Its new Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) building wouldn’t be finished for a year and a half. Announcement: New Architectural Record iPad App Available

McGraw-Hill Construction announced today that Architectural Record is now available as an iPhone and iPad app through a partnership with the online magazine distributor Zinio. "Architectural Record's audience is digitally savvy and architects are using iPhones and iPads," said Robert Ivy, FAIA, vice president and editorial director of McGraw-Hill Construction and editor-in-chief of Architectural Record. Today the American Institute of Architects announced that Hanley Wood LLC will be its new media partner beginning in January 2011. The agreement will last for five years and covers tradeshows and periodicals. McGraw-Hill has served as the AIA's media partner for the past 13 years.
