Illicit Photos of the High Line's Second Phase
Gothamist has the first (illicit) photos we've seen of the mostly completed new section of the High Line. The second phase of the elevated Manhattan park by Diller Scofidio + Renfro and James Corner Filed Operations is slated to open officially in June. Check out Neil Denari's HL23 residential building in the second shot.
The images don't reveal much about moves specific to the new phase, and I'm not sure why someone who took the trouble to snag illicit photos would distort so much with a wide angle, but the purloined shots have certainly piqued my curiosity.
