Designed for the executive chef of a trendy La Jolla eatery, this light-filled professional-style kitchen combines the functional ease of a commercial kitchen with the warm, communal aesthetic of a residential one. Individual workstations are devoted to specific functions. Electrolux appliances have the look and desired performance standards of heftier restaurant models but are kinder to home cooks. A palette of deep hued colored balance the warm woods and cool textured metal surfaces. There’s even a pizza oven hidden in the exterior wall of an adjacent library.
