Realized in collaboration with Dutch garden designer Piet Oudolf, Philly’s newest art destination—emphatically not billed as a museum— showcases a rotating array of works by Alexander Calder for temporary display.
Thomas Piper’s filmis a loving, reverential work that tags along with Oudolf for a year, from one fall to the next, capturing a man with a boundless wonder for the world’s flora.
“The idea was to create a ribbon in the middle of the canyon,” says Hervé Descottes, principal of L’Observatoire International, about the High Line project.
