Pritzker Prize Laureate Shigeru Ban has announced plans to contribute to emergency relief efforts in Nepal after the April 25 earthquake reduced cities to rubble, killed more than 7,000, and left thousands homeless. The exterior of the introverted reinforced-concrete structure remains unchanged. The Pulitzer Arts Foundation unveiled 3,700 square feet of new gallery space May 1, tucked within the serenely introverted structure designed by Tokyo-based Tadao Ando.
