Business conditions at architecture firms have showed no signs of decline for the third consecutive month, indicating growth in design work ahead.

Slowed but continued increase in architecture billings indicate firms are recovering from adverse economic conditions. 

Amid the mixers and the mingling, A’23 provided a platform to address issues within the architecture profession and recognize built achievements.

On display at this year’s AIA conference in San Francisco, the winning photographs showcase the role of photography in interpreting and communicating the built environment.

This month’s dates and events include a Raqs Media Collective exhibition commissioned by the Jencks Foundation at the late architectural theorist's eclectic home in west London. 

Firms recognized this year for superlatively sustainable projects across a range of typologies include SmithGroup, Mithun, Lake|Flato, and Behnisch Architekten.
