Dark-sky-friendly LED luminaires provide light where it’s needed, without glare and upward spill
HWM11 Taos
Approved by the International Dark-Sky Association (IDA), this dimmable wall-mount luminaire has an interchangeable 2, 4, or 6W LED module that delivers a brilliant downward beam in a compact body only 1¾" in diameter. Options include solid brass or solid copper housing with or without 60° or 90° shrouds.
Invue Arbor
Featuring an organic design, this fully controllable collection of sheilded outdoor luminaires features the company's WaveStream LED optics, which provide precise, pixilation-free light distribution with reduced glare for area and pedestrian applications. The post top, bollard, and wall-mounted models are available in custom and standard TGIC-based polyester powder-coated finishes, and with a 4000K or optional 3000K CCT.
RSW Series with WaveMax Technology
This lightweight, dimmable roadway luminaire delivers the light where it needs to be with topnotch efficacy (up to 115 lumens per watt). Designed to minimize glare and any halo effect, this new series is available at a warm 3000K CCT with an 80 CRI—making it a more welcome and dark-sky-friendly option for cities, residential communities, country roads, and parkland settings.
Inula Bollard
This Dark-Sky-compliant pathway/area luminaire was recognized as a Next Generation Luminaire (NGL) at this year’s Lightfair for its good glare control, light distribution, and vandal resistance. A proprietary optic provides clean patterns of illumination with neither striations nor uplight. It comes with IDA-approved 3000K CCT or Amber LED options.
ALED360
RAB's new area luminaire for pole, slipfitter, and wall, has improved thermal performance. Options include a 3000K CCT and proprietary wireless control system and service, operable via computer or mobile device. This allows for a range of tasks, from the dimming of individual fixtures to the illumination of entire zones.
KicK
Engineered with a recessed, fully shielded optical system, this contemporary luminaire cum pole eliminates glare from most viewing angles with 0% uplight. Wireless-ready, to provide maximum control, KicK is ideal for pedestrian-scale paths and building entrances. It comes in 3000K CCT, as well as cooler 4200K and 5100K, in a variety of sizes, finishes, and configurations.
