Architects & Firms

Miró Rivera Architects

Location: Austin, Texas

Project size: 8,660 square feet

Site size: 24,860 square feet

Program: The architect was tasked with designing a new single-family house on a steep lot to capture panoramic views of Austin, Texas.

Solution: Nestled among dense oak trees, the three-story Vista Residence sits on a wedge-shaped site. Perpendicular concrete volumes define distinctive outdoor areas: a private courtyard off the master suite, a terrace for entertaining, large backyard, and a parking area.

Construction and materials: Throughout, the concrete structure has been left exposed.
