Environments for leisure activities are as diverse as the pastimes they accommodate. The projects featured in RECORD’s 2022 Parks & Recreation building type study are no exception. From a 30,000-seat stadium in China to a community center near Toronto, additions to a sculpture park and botanical garden in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and a sports and event venue in France, all integrate with the surrounding landscape—each in their own way.
