RECORD is Now Accepting Submissions for the 2025 Best of Products Competition
RECORD is pleased to announce that its long-running Best of Products competition is now accepting submissions for the 2025 cycle. The program recognizes the most innovative building materials, components, and furnishings introduced to the North American market within the last year. A panel of architects, designers, and experts will select winning entries based on inventiveness, functionality, sustainability, and aesthetics.
Awardees will be published in the December 2025 issue of RECORD. Coverage of competition winners from prior years is available here. Winners from the 2024 cycle included 3form’s 100% Recycled Textures, an upcycled and patterned wall solution; SunStyle, a solar, roofing module offered by CertainTeed; Etched & Threaded, a 100 percent recycled nylon floor tile developed by Interface; Platform, an outdoor and modular seating solution designed by mmcité; and dozens of other products, ranging from lighting solutions to kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
The submission form is straightforward: Entrants will complete a questionnaire on their products, which includes a general description and technical details, and a PDF listing the product name with up to five photos or drawings. The 2025 competition includes a total of 13 categories,
Early bird submissions ($150) are due by July 1, and regular registration ($195) will run through August 1. The application portal can be accessed here.
