Project architects José Fernando Gómez and Juan Carlos Bamba joined fellow prize finalists at the inaugural Conference on Critical Practice at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
The architect was tasked with designing a single-family house that would respectfully respond to its context within a residential neighborhood, and that would be suitable for the tropical setting.
