The Swiss architect dies of covid-19 at age 88.

The founder and chairman of global real estate firm Hines died August 23 at age 95. The visionary developer received a Lifetime Achievement Award from RECORD in 2013 for his patronage of architecture.

The historian of the City of Havana for more than 40 years, credited with the transformation of Old Havana into a showcase of exquisitely restored Spanish colonial architecture, died Friday, July 31.

The conceptual artist who, with his wife and partner Jeanne-Claude, transformed urban landmarks and swaths of nature with vastly ambitious installations, died in New York on Sunday at the age of 84.

"I first came to know Jaque when we were both students at the Yale School of Architecture," writes the architect, "where he succeeded brilliantly as the outstanding member of his class."

The architect and urban designer died at the age of 88 at his home in East Hampton, New York.
